

Reginald Henderson, age 63, devoted husband, father, Papa, uncle, and friend passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, March 7th after a lengthy battle with complications from diabetes. Reginald was born March 11, 1958, in Canton, Ohio. He was raised in Canton and graduated from McKinley High School in 1976. After graduation, he enlisted as an Infantryman in 1976 and served in the 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Benning, Georgia.
Reginald had a long career in the banking industry at Wells Fargo and Bank of America. He enjoyed attending his beloved Houston Texan football games with his buddies. Reggie loved to drive anywhere and everywhere keeping his luxury car at the time in pristine condition. Reggie and Renee loved going to the casinos, antiquing, singing Karaoke, dancing, having a whiskey to relax in the evening, and spoiling his family with love and laughter.
Reggie and Renee were married on October 7,2012 and were blessed with 9 ½ years of matrimony. Reginald is survived by his loving family: wife Renee; Daughter Marquita & husband Jarvis Atkins II; son Reggie; daughter Ashley Henderson; Stepson Sean & wife Kelsey; Stepson Andrew & partner Kase; siblings Mary Ann Thompson, Jean Hogan, Carolyn Henderson, Linda Whitten, Laurice Jackson, and Sayed & wife Shirley Rahman. Seven grandchildren: Janae, Mikayla, Taylor, Destini-Michole, Ermias “Ace”, Teagan, Ansen, and Carsen and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Donevie and Mary Ruth Henderson; and siblings Laureen Thompson, Darrell, Vincent, & Duane Henderson.
