Robert Floyd DeMond

Bob was born in Cortland New York on December 30, 1953. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Joanie Y. DeMond, his 3 children (Victoria Monteleone, Kari Morgan and Kristina Vidal) and 4 grandchildren (Alexa, Madison, Nicholas and Gabriela).

Robert (Bob, Dad, Daddy, Pop-Pop) was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He loved his family more than anything and spent his life doing whatever he could to be the best husband and father possible. He loved spending time with his family taking trips, having a meal together, or just taking his boat out around the lake and fishing. Bob didn’t know a stranger and welcomed everyone he met. The arrival of his grandchildren and earning the name of Pop-Pop gave him all the joy and happiness one could ask for.

A visitation for Robert will be held Friday, March 31, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at American Heritage Funeral Home, 10710 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038, followed by a funeral service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
