Robert "Bob" Ward, age 75, passed away peacefully in Houston, Tx. on October 25, 2011. He was born in Columbus, Tx., Nov. 26, 1935. Bob attended UT Austin and graduated from U of H. He was responsible for four patents developed in oil field design. Bob was a member of New Hope Church. He was preceded in death by Wendy and Zach. Bob is survived by his wife, Marilyn; daughters, Jan & Kenneth, Donna & Todd and Darla & Joe; sons, Craig & Stacey and Darren and grandchildren, Demi Ward, Dina Hall, Rachel Martin, Terri Martin, Kristi Martin, Ryne Smith and Conner Smith. Serving as pallbearers: Ted Sweet, Darren Perkins, Russell Smith, Willie Nunez, Howard Lomax and Jerrod Lenderman, honorary: Jason Lenderman. Visitation will be held at Forest Park Westheimer Thur. 10/27 from 5pm to 8pm and a graveside service Fri. 10/28 at 3:30pm in the cemetery of Forest Park Westheimer.
