Robert Paul “ski” Wroblewski passed away on November 20, 2010. He was born in San Antonio, TX, to Paul A. and Josephine Wroblewski, and came to Houston at the age of six. He worked for the Houston Firefighters for 38 years and retired as a Senior Captain in 2002. He was a member of local 341. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Arlene, his dog and fishing buddy, Max, also a daughter Diane Barnes, a granddaughter, Dana and a grandson Robert, all of Tennessee. He has one great-granddaughter, MacKenzie and one sister, Marie Bergen. He was preceded in death by a sister Jackie Nealon. He was a member of the Holy Name Catholic Church, and the Knights of Columbus Council 5077. Visitation will be Monday November 22nd from 5 pm – 9 pm with a Holy Rosary at 7 pm in the Chapel at Forest Park Westheimer. There will be a graveside service on Tuesday November 23rd at 2:00 pm at Forest park Westheimer. In lieu of flowers the family requests a donation be made to the American Heart Association, or a charity of your choice.
