

Rodolfo H. Fabre, age 65, passed away on Sunday, the 10th of July 2011, in Houston, Texas, while surrounded by his family. He was born in Mexico City on the 22nd of May 1946, to loving and devoted parents. Rudy was an extraordinary man who lived an extraordinary life; enriched by family, friends, adventures and experiences. At an early age, he became enamored with aviation, a love affair that would last the rest of his life.
Starting in his late teens, Rudy worked for airlines in Mexico before coming to Houston, where he pursued the American Dream. Rudy was ultimately one of the founders of the global aviation company, Air Routing International, where he traveled the world paving the way for corporate aviation as we know it today.
Along the way, Rudy raised two wonderful children and later became "Abue," to six delightful grandchildren. Rudy is survived by his loving wife, Cecilia; his son and his wife, Rodolfo R. and Rachel; and their three children; his daughter and her husband, Georgette and Lee; and their three children. He is also survived by his sister, Georgette; and his parents, Rodolfo A. and Gloria; along with countless family members and friends, including his very large Air Routing family. He was preceded in death by his sister, Ana. Rudy was larger than life with a big vision and an even bigger heart.
A memorial services is to be conducted at two o’clock in the afternoon on Saturday, the 16th of July, in the Jasek Chapel of Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, 1010 Bering Drive in Houston, where the Rev. David Garnier, Parochial Vicar of St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Church, is to officiate. Immediately following the service, all are invited to greet the family during a reception in the Grand Foyer.
