Sarah and I want to express our deepest Sympathy to each of you.  Rudy Always greeted us with a smile and a warm handshake.   We are grateful for his kindness.  

As a child and even into my adulthood, he always called me Gabby Hays.  When I was a child, he talked about banditos and took us hunting when we were in Roma.  I will cherish the times we spent at family gatherings at your home.   One of the lasting memories I have is how he talked with Samantha when she was young and draw pictures with her.

Family, Friends & Loved Ones,

As the business of planning a funeral finalizes & the noise starts to settle, the impact of losing Dad starts to set in. The positive in that it also provides a meaningful time of reflection. As I review the condolences sent in different ways and the pictures here, I am reminded of the impact Dad made on so many lives and how both he & Mom embraced each phase of their lives. From their young lives as migrant workers, through military service, a civil service career, travel, the birth of their children, creating a home, the 
 blessings of their children's spouses, caring  for grand children & their latter years, they always made the best of all & cherished those moments. So, next week, we celebrate that! 

Rather you attend the Visitation on Monday, the Celebration of Life services on Tuesday or simply reflect & remember, we thank you for being part of this phase of Dad's life journey.

My name is Juan Manuel Escobar, son of Filomeno and Rosita Escobar. Rodolfo was my father’s 2nd cousin. Last time I I saw him was in 1956, when he and Dora were married at the Escobares Catholic Church. I am much younger having been born in 1950.

I know that this is a hard time in the your life, seeing a love one pass on, so if my words can  help, I am extending my condolences to all of the Garza and Naranjo family. We thank him for his service to our country. Rest In Eternal Paradise. Blessings!

Rudy was the non-conformist in the family of eight brothers and two sisters.  He would do the opposite of what dad expected.  He buck the trends at every turn.  When the horse threw him into a bad fall and came home all dazed and stumped he would never tell my older brother, Genaro, what happened or why.  He joined the military early in life instead of picking cotton like the rest of us.  He would  do the unexpected and when he was bitten by a black widow spider he almost died  then tell dad he was hurting. He charted his own trail, did things his own way, and by taking the road less traveled, it made all the difference on his life.

Mi más sentido pésame primeramente para Dora su esposa,hijos nietos y bisnietos.son perdidas muy dificiles,pero gracias a Dios tuvieron la bendición de tenerlo por muchos años para verlo disfrutarlo y compartir bonitos momentos a lo largo de los años..Así que ahora tendrán mucho tiempo para recordar todos los momentos inolvidables,alguno muy bonitos algunos tristes pero al final fueron y será siempre parte de la vida de todos ustedes ,igualmente para los que tuvimos el privilegio de compartir con el..Qué Dios nuestro Señor lo tenga en su santa Gloria.q
