

He was also a successful man in his field. He first followed his parent’s footsteps as a public servant by becoming a paramedic like his mother when he was just a teenager. He later followed his father as a police officer where he served for a short period as the Chief of Police of Sharpstown .
Later in his career he moved to security where he was an executive for the largest security company in Texas, before opening his own company providing security services and executive protection. He served and protected businesses and their executives, and many men and women in the political, religious and entertainment industries .
His true passion was being an armor bearer and protecting the church and men and women of God. That was his anointing and true calling from God.
He loved vacationing with his wife and their favorite place to go was Kauai.
Ron was a very kind and gentle soul and lived a life of integrity and as a servant of God. He will be greatly missed by many.
He is preceded in death by his father Ray Crowel, mother Alta Crowel, his great nephew Corley Morgan, his step daughter Amity Arriola and his brother-in law Gary Wilson. He is survived by his wife Melanie Crowel, stepson Terry Arriola, siblings Debi Crowel, Doug Crowel and wife Patti, Donna Crowel, Michael Crowel and his wife Megan, Christine Wilson, and many nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.
