Ronald Lee "WW" Walker

Born November 25th ,1946 in Cameron, Texas to Lee and Aileen Walker, Ron graduated from Pascagoula High School. After attending Milsaps College he served in the US Navy before graduating from the University of Southern Mississippi with a Business Administration degree.

Living in Houston for the past 38 years, Ron worked diligently and passionately for Schlumberger Corporation as Director of Facilities for over 25 years. He also thoroughly enjoyed working the front door on weekends at the Wild West night club for 32 years. Ron was respected and extremely well-liked by his many colleagues and friends!

He was an avid and superb golfer, earning many trophies and awards. He will be sorely missed by the Sweetwater Five. Ron was also fond of riding his motorcycle, dancing, attending the rodeo and other social events.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lee R. Walker. He is survived by his son Dusty Walker; his granddaughter Teagen; and his grandson Ashton, all of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Ron is also survived by his mother Aileen Walker of Pascagoula, Mississippi; sisters Beverly Attkison (Dewey) of Seaford, Delaware and Cheryl Wilkinson of Pascagoula, Mississippi; nieces, nephews and special companion, Jane Willis.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, August 19, 2014 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM with the Funeral Service at 7:00 PM in The Hunters Creek Chapel at Earthman Funeral Directors, 8303 Katy Freeway, Houston, Texas 77024. Interment will be Wednesday, August 20, 20124 at 12:00 PM in Friendship Cemetery, Friendship, Texas.
