Raised on a ranch in Los Herreras, Rosalinda grew up caring for the animals she adored—horses, goats, and cows—and tending to the land that shaped her gentle and giving spirit. She loved planting and harvesting corn, beans, and fruit, a passion that stayed with her throughout her life and reflected her deep appreciation for nature’s simple blessings. She loved to journal, write and had a passion for details.
Rosalinda later made Houston, Texas, her home, where she raised her children with unwavering devotion. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she found great joy in cooking and preparing special meals for her family. To all who knew her, Rosalinda was the embodiment of sweetness, compassion, and quiet strength. She gave openly, loved deeply, and created a home filled with laughter, care, and tradition. She lived a beautiful life devoted to Jesus Christ and is now at eternal rest with our Lord.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 48 years, Jose Luis Bracamontes; her children, Jose Luis Bracamontes Jr. (Elnora Anna), Esteban Bracamontes, Daniel Bracamontes (Marissa), and Israel Bracamontes.
Rosalinda cherished her grandchildren: Ruben (Melissa), Crystal (Jesse), AJ, Matthew (Natalie), and Elijah. She was also blessed with great-grandchildren: Emarie, Aleia (Cocomelon), and Analynn (Angry Bird), linked lovingly to Jose Jr. and Elnora Anna. The family also awaits the arrival of Daniel and Marissa’s baby, expected in 2026—a new life Rosalinda was excited to welcome.
She is also survived by her siblings: Irma Salinas, Juan Alberto Salinas Cantu, Jose Guadalupe Salinas Cantu, Mirthala Salinas Cantu, Maria Teresa Salinas, and Dora Elia Gonzalez.
Rosalinda is preceded in death by her parents, Jose Maria Salinas Garza and Lilia Cantu Salinas, and her brothers Israel Salinas Cantu and Moises Salinas Cantu.
Rosalinda’s legacy is one of love, generosity, and devotion. Her gentle presence and caring heart touched everyone who had the blessing of knowing her. Her memory will live on in her family, in the traditions she nurtured, and in the countless moments of kindness she shared.
The family welcomes you to join them in honoring Rosalinda’s life.
