Rose could be described as a woman who was charismatic and humble that would give a stranger the shirt off her back. A loyal friend, she took everyone in with open arms and considered her friendships as family. She was a loving mother and grandmother that enjoyed her family's company. Whenever Rose spoke to someone she could make them feel like they were the only person that mattered in that moment. Her contagious laugh filled up and brightened the room. In her free time, Rose liked to travel and dance, although she enjoyed all kinds of music, her favorite genre to dance was Salsa. She was a fan of food as she enjoyed eating rare beef steak, like her father used to. Rose loved going shopping and overall just having a good time wherever she was. She loved to dress up, wear perfume and stay fashionable. A part of Rose can be seen in her granddaughter, Leana. She is her "Mini-me" and enjoys getting pampered as much as Rose did. Rose enjoyed many things in life but overall spending time with her family and being there for those she loved was her priority, she will be missed.
Rose is survived by her son D'Angelo Gomez; and her daughter Liza Marie Gomez; her grandson Le'Andro Alberto Gomez and her granddaughter Leana Nicole Gomez.
Rose was preceded in death by her spouse Alberto Gomez; her father Raymond Ytuarte and her mother Mary Luisa Ytuarte; her brother Raymond Ytuarte Jr..
A mass for Rose will be held Friday, March 31, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St Patrick Catholic Church, 4918 Cochran St., Houston, TX 77009. A visitation will occur Friday, March 31, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel, 5100 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77022. A prayer service will occur Friday, March 31, 2023 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel, 5100 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77022.
