Rosita Benico

Born the second of five children of Lucia and Nemesio Silva of the Philippines, Rosita was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, and friend. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Victor and by her sister, Ofelia S. Castro, and is survived by her siblings Benito D. Silva. Cecilia Silva-Gnanes, and Natividad Silva-Sabay.

A devoted mother, Rosita leaves behind her daughters, Marie Lizette S. Benico and Jeanette B. Colunga, as well as her sons-in-law, Brian Hodge and Ben Colunga, who cherished her deeply. She was also a dear aunt to all her Castro and Silva nephews and nieces, who will always remember her warmth and generosity.

Rosita was deeply religious and had a great devotion to the Blessed Mother. Her faith was the foundation of her life, guiding her with love, compassion, and strength. She found solace and joy in prayer and was an inspiration to those around her.

Rosita’s kindness, strength and unwavering love for her family will be remembered by all who know her. Her legacy lives on in our hearts of those she touched.
