Rozelle Shirley Cowart passed away on February 28, 2016 in Houston, Texas; she was born on April 30, 1928 in Altoona, Alabama to Thomas G. Shirley and Girtha Lee Shirley. Rozelle leaves to cherish her loving memory, her children: James Cowart, Marsha Diane (Jerry) Fergeson, Timothy Cowart; grandson, James Anthony Fergeson. Preceded in death by her parents and her siblings; Carven Shirley, Herman Shirley, Mildred Teague, Buddy Shirley, L.B. Shirley, and Edward Shirley. Rozelle was a faithful and devoted member of West Way Baptist Church. Her family meant everything to her, and she was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone in need-- family, friends and neighbors. Rozelle always enjoyed gardening and time spent with her family. She was a person who never complained and handled anything life handed her.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Westway Baptist Church located at 11207 Perry Road, Houston, Texas 77064.
