Ruben Noe Cavazos

Ruben graduated from Lyford High School . A dedicated and skilled Master Electrician, Ruben worked for his own company" Ruben Cavazos Electrical"for over 50 years, where he was known for his craftsmanship, reliability, and generosity in sharing his knowledge with others.

In 2009, Ruben met Elvira at the Avalon Diner, and the two were married on August 21, 2024. Their marriage was filled with love, laughter, and companionship that brought joy to everyone around them.

Ruben was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Ruben García Cavazos and María Candelaria Cavazos, as well as his brothers Ramiro Noel Cavazos, Rolando Ray Cavazos, and Reynaldo Rene Cavazos.

He is survived by his loving wife of 16 years, Elvira; his children Grace (Juan), Susan (Juan), Cesar, and Ruby; and his cherished grandchildren Eric and Jason Bermea, Dulce Cavazos, Noah Solis, and Mariana and Leilani Ramires.

Ruben is also survived by his sisters Diana (Rudy) Chavez, Dora (Rick) Casto, Gina (Ruben) Flores, and brothers Roberto (Alma) and Ricky Cavazos, as well as numerous nieces and nephews who will forever remember his kindness and humor.

Pallbearers will be Juan Solis, Juan Ramires, Martin Marcial, Rudy Chavez Jr., Mike Chavez, and Cesar Cavazos.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Houston Transitional Care for their compassionate care and support.

Ruben will be remembered for his strong work ethic, unwavering love for his family, and his generous spirit. His presence will be deeply missed but his memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

A visitation will be held on November 4, 2025, from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Funeraria Del Angel, located at 5100 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77022.

The funeral service will take place on November 5, 2025, from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm, also at Funeraria Del Angel.

A committal service will follow at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, TX 77038, from 1:15 pm to 1:30 pm on November 5, 2025.
