Russell Lee Williams

During his early life, Russell joined the Military and was honorary dismissed from the Army. He was part of the 82nd Airborne Brigade. Russell married the love of his life Gaynell Williams and raised two wonderful children Russell Byron Williams and Angela Williams. He later pledged and became a member of the Mason Society and retired from the Federal Railroad Administration as chief inspector.

Russell leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Gaynell Williams; son, Russell Williams; daughter, Angela Williams and four grand children, Ethan Martinez, Vaughn Martinez, Adeline Williams and Russell Williams. He is preceded in death by his parents, Richard Russell and Opal Amelia Williams and sister, Bertha Dee Bettis.

A funeral service for Russell will be held Sunday, September 19, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039, followed by a committal service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
