Ruth Lee Garcia

She gave birth to three daughters that love her very much. Her daughters were her whole world, her life, and her circle, as she would say. Ruth was an amazing mother and grandmother, and was always there when they needed her. No matter how many challenges Ruth faced, that did not stop her from doing all that she could for the people she cares about, and making the most out of the moments. She was truly the best. She was super woman to us all. Ruth was known most for her big personality, and being the life of the party. She always seemed to find a way to make those around her howl with laughter. She was strong, independent, ambitious, honest, confident, cheerful, bright, admirable, and the most amazing mom, grandma, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend anyone could ask for. Ruth will be truly missed and always in our hearts. We love you to the moon and back. Always and Forever.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Eva Alicia Garza-De Jasso; brother, Javier Garza; nephew, Oscar Gress.

Ruth is survived by her father, Roberto Jasso; daughters, Claudia Cruz, Stefani Jasso, and Daisy Jasso; grandchildren, Angelica Velasquez, Jimmia Velasquez, Zayvier Adkins, and Zayden Adkins; siblings, Sylvia Gress, Jessica Jasso, Noemi Delgado, Robert Jasso, Erika Sanchez, and Jonathan Jasso.

There are not enough words to fully express our heartfelt gratitude for the sympathy, love and support you have extended to our family during this hard time. Thank you!

Serving as pallbearers are Roberto Jasso, Jose Cisneros, Elvis Benitez, Jonathan Jasso, Robert Jr. Jasso and Meliton Gress.

A visitation for Ruth will be held Thursday, August 17, 2023 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A funeral service will occur Thursday, August 17, 2023 at 2:30 PM. A graveside service will occur Thursday, August 17, 2023 at 3:30 PM at Brookside Memorial Park.
