What a time

Remember sis calling me to talk bout something I had to tell her my order so she could translate it in Spanish while on the Valley mission

I wasn't close to Saira, but I came to knew she was a fierce, badass woman who got things done from our time together in our high school theatre troupe. Saira was a born leader. Decisive, quick on her feet, and incredibly resourceful. I wasn't at all surprised when I found out she went military. I always loved seeing the occasional life update from her social media. It still feels so surreal to know she's gone. She was such a lively, energetic force of a person. You will be so missed, Saira. Gone too soon, but never forgotten.

Fly high my Leo baby. Sharing a birthday with you will forever make you a part of me. Shine bright Saira, we love you. Our condolences to the family. 

My sincere condolences are with Saira’s family at this time. I feel blessed to have had the opportunity to be her friend in some of the best years of my adolescent life middle school and some part of high school and even though we lost contact and drifted away in high school I have always cherished my time with her and was happy to see her life updates via social media as she accomplished her goals and traveled. She was definitely one of a kind and will be missed. May God give peace and comfort to all in this difficult time

The last time I saw Saira in person was in 2019. The years following were busy and hectic, passing quickly, but I always assumed there would be a next time. My beautiful, fierce and loving friend, I wish so much for more food outings, hugs, and long talks into the night. I'm grateful for the memories I'll keep with me. Saira is an amazing person who is cherished by so many. My deepest condolences to her family and loved ones.

I am so sorry for your loss.   Saira was a shining star that was extinguished way too soon.  I remember her fondly from her days at Kerr.  Thoughts and prayers for the family and friends.  

On behalf of the Texas Army National Guard, we are one with the family in the loss of our beloved sister, SSG Martinez.  She will not be forgotten.

My heart goes out to the family I didn't know her well but we worked in the same department at Methodist hospital.  She was a very kind person. She was so young, God be with her family in there time of need
