Dr. Salvador Lacayo de la Selva, age 88, of Houston, Texas passed away at home surrounded by his family, on Saturday August 31, 2019. He was born in Managua, Nicaragua on December 24, 1930, preceded in death by his parents Salvador Lacayo and Emilia Lacayo de la Selva-Escoto.
Dr. Lacayo de la Selva is survived by his wife, the former Yolanda Castellon-Castellon of Managua, Nicaragua, six children: Patricia Lacayo-Robertson (David), Yolanda Lacayo-Clem (Kirk), Sydnnia E. Lacayo-Wulff (Fred), Randall A. Lacayo (Josefa Esperanza), Alix Regina Lacayo-Angueira and Luis A. Lacayo (Maria Eugenia), seven grandchildren: Stephanie Aimee Lacayo, Alexander Clem (Steffie), Luis Alejandro Lacayo II (Sara), Samantha Angueira, Carolina Lacayo, Ernesto Angueira and Adriana Lacayo; two great grandchildren: Jamie Grace Goodman and Elena Lucia Lacayo.
Salvador was a world traveler and a multi lingual erudite with a love for reading, writing and learning. He was an excellent spouse, husband, father, grand-father and great-grandfather who loved his family above all. Always loyal to family and friends near and far away, he will be dearly missed and forever remembered.
