We will all miss you so terribly Paw Paw. It was you who taught us a crescent wrench from a screwdriver, how to check the oil in our vehicles and change a tire if we had to. You left us a legacy of home made ravioli, beef stroganoff, and of course, your favorite, the perfect Thanksgiving turkey. We will have to call really long distance now for step by step cooking instructions. The other part of your legacy is your delightful artwork which we all have displayed in our homes and of course your music. Never will we hear ' Play That Funky Music' or 'Oooh Child' without thinking of you. We will be sure you are here with us for every holiday celebration and family event-graduations, concerts, and weddings.

God's Speed Paw Paw- we know you have gone to a better place without pain or confinement but we will always and forever love and miss you.

Gene is survived by his mother, Ange Walker, his daughter, Angel 'Poo Poo' Thompson, his son Matthew Damico and wife Brooke. Grandchildren, Nick & Erin Thompson, Brayden, Mattison & Harleigh Damico. His daughter, Jessica Simpson, and his loving wife Karen 'Zub" Damico.
