Lovingly known as Sandye, she graduated from Smiley High School. She met Jimmy Blevins, the love of her life in her teen years and married in Houston, TX on January 1, 1958.
Sandye retired from the U.S. Postal Service and later spent many years working for Food Town.
She is preceded in death by her parents, James K. and Sydney L. Yates.
Those left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband of 68 years, Jimmy Roy Blevins; Son, Kelly Rae Blevins and his wife, Lisa; Daughter, Lee Ann Full and her husband, Craig; Grandchildren, Kyle Blevins, Katie Blevins, her husband, William, Cori Carillo, her husband, Andrew, Cody Full, his wife Elise, Garrett Full, his wife, Rebecca; Great-Grandchildren, Carson Full, Vivian Full, Noah Full, Everett Carrillo, Banks Carrillo and her best friend for over 50 years, “Susie” Watkins.
