

Sarah, known as “Tiny”, was born in Henderson, Kentucky on the 8th of December 1920.
She is preceded in death by her husband Ben W. Ditto.
She is survived by her devoted son Philip P. Ditto and wife Jill A.; granddaughters, Peyton and Sarah Ditto; nephews, Jim Hite and wife Ginny; Dick Hite and wife Ginger and numerous nieces and nephews. She will also be missed by her loyal love, her dog, Blondie.
Tiny moved to Houston in 1947 from Paducah, Kentucky with Ben Ditto and his brother Lanson. They bought an existing retail store, today know as Norton Ditto. She was a member of River Oaks Country Club where she loved to play bridge and enjoyed all of her friendships. Tiny was also a member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church.
Tiny was known for her impeccable flare and style of dress and was always a lady. She stood firmly by her unwaivering beliefs and was known for her keen sense of humor and sharp wit.
The family would like to express their gratitude to Wanda Youngs, Billy and LeQuita Burks and Christy Flores for their devoted and loving care of Tiny.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from five o’clock in the afternoon until seven o’clock in the evening on Sunday, the 3rd of October, at Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, 1010 Bering Drive in Houston.
A Mass and Christian Celebration of her life is to be conducted at ten o’clock in the morning on Monday, the 4th of October, at St. Anne Catholic Church, 2140 Westheimer Road in Houston.
Immediately following the service, the family will gather for a private graveside and interment service.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests that donations in memory of Tiny be directed to St. Anne Catholic Church, 2140 Westheimer Road, Houston, TX, 77019; The Houston Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, 900 Portway Drive, Houston, TX, 77024; or to the charity of one’s choice.
