Sarah A. Harrell was born in Houston tx. on July 16,1940 to the late Edna Earl Dancy and late Rev. Hermann B. Dancy, Sr. On Friday, November 20,2020 out Heavenly Father quietly whispered her name and invited her to come and be with Him. Sarah A Harrell attended Jack Yates high school, class of 58' following going to college receiving her bachelor's degree from Texas southern University. She taught as a teacher for 34 years at Franklin elementary school in second ward. Her passion was teaching 2nd grade, teaching 3 generations of children. She volunteered at memorial HERMANN hospital as well she enjoyed helping a lot of people of all ages.
Sarah was loved and will be missed by everyone who knew her. Her light will continue to shine through her devoted child: Brian K Thomas (Shadonna), her late brother Herman B. Dancy Jr. Her grandchildren Ralph Thomas, Cashe' Thomas, Brian Thomas Jr., Brianna Thomas, Brenston Thomas and extended family and friends Kevin Carrier, Troy Ervin, Vera Miller, Angela Owtley and special devoted friends Lura Lee. She is preceded in death by her father Rev H.B Dancy and Mother Edna Earl Dancy as well as husband Elliot Harrell.
