Dear Vicki (& Sherman and Doug):

I just learned about Sherman's ("Mr. Glass" to me!)passing last weekend at a welcome home party for Doug and Tracy and want to pay my respects.  Although it has been a long while since seeing you and "Mr. Glass", you were both a memorable part of my growing up in Houston. I am sad for your loss and grateful for having known both of you.

I did not see the obituary until Friday afternoon.  I am so sorry that I missed the service and being able to see you.  Martin and I are both thinking about you and have you in our prayers.

I always enjoyed my reelationship with Shermanat Humble Oil. He was always kind and listened to what you had to say. We enjoyed playing softball in the Humble league. He was a great perosn. My prayers go out to the family. Glen H. Beeler

Dear Vicki, I am sad for the loss to you, and to Sherman Jr, Doug, Nancy and their families. What a terrific guy your Sherman was! What great kids he helped you raise! What wonderful and thoughtful neighbors you all were to us! I can't be with you tomorrow - I'm tied up for the next few weeks - but I'll be in touch soon, and my thoughts will be with you all. with deepest sympathy,

I will really miss Uncle Sherman. I always enjoyed all the visits on the holidays we got to spend with you and all the meals we shared, both with Mom and then later by myself. I always enjoyed his stories. I will miss him as I know you all will too.
