Ivan, Eileen, and Alyssa, our prayers are with you. We will truly miss that Shirley giggle and appreciation of the finer things in life. Shirley was like a sister to me and we had our times as sisters do. She was like a second mother to my son (her Godchild) during his formative years. Wish we could have been with you during this trying time; but our love and prayers are with you. She will suffer no more.

My beautiful Mother. My heart is broken; I miss you dearly. I know we are not supposed to question God's plan but I'm selfish-He took you from me too soon. We had more theater to take in, more trips to take, more things to experience with Hannah. Please whisper to me through a breeze. Let me feel the warmth of your touch. A waft of your fragrance will calm me. God I thank you that my Mother is not suffering any more and she is now wrapped in your loving arms. I love you dear Mother; until we see each other again.

Shirley was a special lady whom I was very lucky to have worked with. Her laugh could be heard clear down the hall on Broadway which picked all of us up on difficult days. We will miss her always!

Shirley was fun to work with at Solano Count Mental Health. She was always helpful, hopeful and a support to me in my early days with the county. My condolences to the family.

Shirley will always have a special place in my heart because of her unique way of training new staff that came into Solano County HSS. I was a new student out of nursing school when I came to work at Solano County HSS and she did a wonderful job of training me for position at crisis service of mental health division. We will never forget that infectious smile and laugh, even when she was grumpy, we could get her to laugh! For Jan Lutton who doesn't have web access, she remembered the happy dance they used to do, I'm sure many at 228 Broadway saw them doing it.

Thanks for being a part of us and all the great times we shared...you were a blessing to many people...and you are truly missed.
