Shirley Parr, born August 10, 1921 passed away February 5, 2012. She will be greatly missed by her nieces and nephews. Shirley is preceded in death by her husband, Allie O Parr and her sister, Agnes Gibson. She was loyal to her husband and her home. She took care of Allie and her nieces and nephews. In her life, not only did she love her family, but she also enjoyed taking care of her home, gardening, and her morning soaps and was a huge fan of Elvis. When we remember her, we are sure to smile.
Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at Brookside Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be conducted at 2:00 pm Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at Brookside Family Chapel with interment to follow in Brookside Memorial Park.
