Shirley Jean Russell, 84, of Cleveland, passed away peacefully on March 7, 2026. Shirley was a loving mother, grandmother, and devoted family member whose greatest joy in life was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Shirley was preceded in death by her mother, Novalee Freda Reimers; her beloved daughter, Deborah Lynn Jones; and her grandson, Kevin Wayne Norris.
She is survived by her cherished grandchildren, Christopher Alan Norris, Jessica Lynn Jones, and William Dallas Jones, as well as her son-in-law, William “Billy” Dallas Jones. Shirley’s love for her family, her warmth, and her pride in being a grandmother will be remembered by all who knew and loved her.
Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
A Funeral Service will be held at Brookside Funeral Home, Grand Oak Chapel, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039, on March 26, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
A Committal Service will be held at Brookside Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039, on March 26, 2026, from 11:00 am to 11:15 am.
