He was born in Columbus, Ohio on September 30, 1945.
He was married to Angelita (Angie) M. Gibson for 44 years.
Stan had a long career with AT&T Telecommunications, Ohio Bell and Southwestern Bell.
He was a proud member of the 199th Light Infantry Brigade - (Army) and had a passion for fishing and ranching. He was a Vietnam Veteran.
He is survived by his spouse, Angie Gibson; sons, Jason M. Gibson (Amber Gibson) and Gil Urbano (Sydney Sanders); grandchildren, Egil Zeene Urbano, Alyssa Faith Gibson, and Penelope Grace Urbano; brother, Steve D. Gibson; nephews, Jacob L. and Amy Lynn Gibson and Grant N. Gibson.
