Sister Ify, it seems just like yesterday but two years has gone already since you’re passing. Praying that God will continually keep your soul in perfect peace until that resurrection morning when we shall all meet to part no more. You’re definitely missed on this side of the world. Ify, the shock is yet to wane. We spoke, and chatted few weeks earlier, I never saw it coming.
You are one person who spoke her mind at all times, someone who could pull me aside and say, Tony, stop that now.
You  were my beloved sister and friend. My heart still bleeds on this untimely demise but you know what, I take solace in the knowing  that God loves you more.  To live is Christ to die is gain. Rest on Beloved.


Sister Ify, my heart is full of grief. I don't know the last you visited me when I was sick is when I hear your voice last.

Adaoma  Ify, as I fondly called you,, You were such a lovely person, very transparent, kind, loyal, understanding, compassionate, an inspiring soul, a prayer warrior whose testimony encouraged a lot of people.  As you were going through challenges of life, you were  busy blessing and encouraging  others that crosses your path . Though you lived a short life, yet,  your life was positively impactful. You fought a good fight and  you won. The imperishable crown you worked hard for has been placed on your head. You are now in  His presence singing and dancing eternally. My consolation is knowing that you are alive in God, and we will meet on the Resurrection morning to part no more.

Words will not express our sorrow  on the news of your demise! I remember after our regular Sunday fellowship at Acf when I complimented your beautiful shoes,  you took your feet off and said " ahh Sis Chy abeg collect it" I said " haba Sis Stella I was joking "  you insisted and said that you have another pair of slippers in you car ! I said no , you said "don't worry I will bring it to your house " we laughed! You have a beautiful soul! Thanks for making a pan of "abacha" for my parent's 50th wedding  anniversary,  thanks for cooking nkwobi at our ACF Induction ceremony! You always share and want to give your time, to God and the things of the Lord! We at  ACF mourn your  sudden exit. Rest on Sister Stella till we meet again on the resurrection morning! You will be greatly missed ! May the Lord console your family! Amen! 

Sis Stella, I will never forget how your testimony of God's grace  and healing in your life built  my faith, calling and talking with you after that  allowed me to use your testimony to encourage and pray for the sick. I am  comforted that you are resting on Jesus's Bossom, Adieu my beautiful sister, till we meet again at Jesus's feet, Amen. We love you. 💘

Sister Stella Ify Phillips you were always radiant and full of joy. Your mouth was always full of testimonies and praise to God. You loved to worship and dance to the Lord. I can imagine your pure joy unspeakable as you now worship Jesus face to face, your face reflecting the glory and brilliance and radiance of your Lord Jesus Christ. You are gone too soon, my heart is heavy but I rejoice in the knowledge that you have put on immortality and you are in the presence of God for eternity. Death is swallowed up in victory! Hallelujah to the lamb of God! Glory to Jesus the resurrection and life!!! 1 Corinthians 15:52-58.
May God comfort, strengthen and give peace to Stella's family in Jesus name.

I feel so bitter not only because you passed on, but because you have streams  of future selfless plans and ideas that is going to be graved with you.

Ifeyinwa was a warm and kindhearted woman. She was always beaming with a charming smile and positive attitude no matter the situation.

Ify, was a strong believer of God's Word and an ardent prayer warrior.

You fought a good fight Sis, but at God's own time, it pleases him to call you back to his eternal home.

It still feels like not real, yet real. Life is the only thing we have here on earth, yet very short. Stella, your exit is a painful practical example. 

It seems the cold hand of death knows how to strike where it hurts most. Stella, you may be taken, but your memories live on. Your short life here is full of it.  You had grace and energy that is hard to find elsewhere. What has death achieved cutting you this Short?

You took life easy, beared fruit of kindness and pure heart, despite your peculiar challenges. The energy you possessed brightens and worms every environment you stepped into.  

I may say that aside God, one of the things you valued so much in life is friendship.  You were such a good friend. Your memory shall continue to linger in the shadows. It couldn't be imagined, I would be writing eulogy for you this time. 

The Lord bringeth and the Lord taketh.  You will be missed immensely by many that crossed part with you.

May the good Lord accepts you in his paradise,  where the worries of this world is no more.

Ify my dear friend, the news of your passing is still shocking to my ears. What happened? 

Ify you’re one of those who bring a light so great to the world that even after they are gone, the light remains. 

The great singer! One of your fav songs “isi ala muo, soso gi nwe ya”  keeps ringing in my ears since your passing. The earth has lost but heaven gained. 

Safe journey my sister! You’re gone but will never be forgotten.  Yes, cos a true friend never truly goes but their spirit lives on in the memory of those who loved them.

Hi Stella,its still seems like a dream to me that you have gone,though i knew you for a short time but i see you as a person with a good heart always laughing and smiling even whenever i make fun of how you sing a song,you will just started laughing.You are indeed a sweet lady i remembered when you shared a testimony to me of how God save you when you did a surgery.However it best known to God why you gone so soon i love you but Jesus love you more,continue to rest in the bossom of the Lord.

Just like a dream but so real. Yet to wake up from this dream but who can question God. It's so difficult, so sad to believe that you left when you were so full of life.  Such an inspiration,, so loving and caring  with a heart of gold. I give God the glory for the privilege to know you. You will always be remembered. 

I  pray God to comfort the entire family and friends. God saw it all and I believe she is resting in the bosom of her Creator.
May the Holy Spirit comfort you all in Jesus name. Amen and Amen. 

Ify afro like I call you, it's really hard to believe you have gone too soon but no doubt you ran your race well. My kids definitely will miss you and will forever cherish all the Sunday school lessons and songs you thought them. Go in peace my dear sister until we meet again but until then good night friend 

Ifeyinwa “Ezechi” as  my husband and I fondly call you, yes you’re gone, but you will forever be remembered if not for any thing but for your strong FAITH in God. I will never doubt you are with the Angels singing all the beautiful songs of praise, and melody that drew me to you. You taught me how to forgive those that wronged me and to always remember our heavenly race. I will always remember I promise. Heaven got the best,  a woman of truth, good heart and spirit of given. Ify,  I’ve been at a loss since I learnt of your passing. There is so much to say but such little time. 

I will miss our occasional catch-ups. You were such a lovely person. Always laughing and with a smile on your face. I remember all the way back to your days at the Box Office New Haven. 

May God comfort your family members especially your parents and Victoria. 

Keep interceding for us and watching over us.

It is  hard for me to believe that you're no more, that I will not hear from you or see you again.

You brought joy to those around you.  A woman of God with a heart of Gold. You're such a  kind soul and saying goodbye is really heartbreaking

My wife has not stop talking about your hospitality and care towards her right from the first day she met you,

Our last time was fun. It was choir practice....you smelled food and said, who is eating o...I smiled and said na me o, you asked for spoon to join me because you've been away from home since morning and you hungry. From church to fellowship you said. Of course we ate together like sisters that we were. Little did I know that was it, that was gonna be your last meal with us in the choir. I am still in shock.
 I still look back in fellowship, I look back hoping to see you behind me cos that's where you normally seat. You are deeply missed sis. We miss your big smile. Indeed life is so short but I'm grateful for memories and life well spent on earth.  Rest on sis! Rest in peace. 

Sister Stella is still a big shock you just left like that, Stella after talking with you twice you said you where feeling better I never knew the next news will be your death, you are a wonderful sister with a kind heart not withstanding all challenges you always lighten everyone with your smiles, we where planning our group Thanksgiving together not knowing you didn't give me a notice about your death, is so painful but God knows it all who can question him, I know you are resting on his bosom may your gentle soul continue to rest in his bosom, Group Nine In Main chapter miss you dearly.  We are comforted because one day we shall meet and part no more.

Ify, the news of your sudden death came as a great shock to every member of our family because we all believed that you have conquered already. 

We know that death is a necessary end that will come when it will come but it is more painful when it is not expected at that particular time. Our parents are yet to be consoled.

Ify, your exit created a vacuum in our family and outside as a whole. You paid the supreme price of investing in people and as such, you will always be remembered. We took solace on the fact that those baptized in the Lord, sleep in the Lord and will rise to be united with Him where we shall all meet to part no more.

Sister Ify, as I fondly call you, what happened to you? How come you gave up at this time having conquered death on numerous occasions. How come, you gave up now after all the struggles and now it seems that the grass is becoming greener? What about the covenant you told me that you and your siblings had that none of you will die before your aged parents? Oh Sister Ify!!! You were a bold and fearless child of God, always on the truth no matter whose ox is gored. Sister Ify, you were so kindhearted to a fault, you surprised me on several occasions with your kindheartedness and I could only gazed at you and wondered in my heart, what kind of exceptional specie you are. Our Paths crossed in 2016 and the rest became history. You were so dedicated and committed to your service to God and humanity even when you were struggling with health challenges. Even when you were in so many pains and anguish, you never stopped smiling. Nobody is indeed an Angel, though you had your flaws but I can boldly say that you are a true child of God. You challenged my faith in God on numerous occasions and I would want to say that you came, you saw and you conquered. Sister Ify, you are missed already. I take solace that you are resting in God’s bosom whom you served wholeheartedly while living. It pained my heart that you never stayed a little more to reap the fruits of all your struggles. Keep resting in God’s paradise till the resurrection morning. Adieu Sister Ify! Adieu Prayer warrior!! Adieu Nwanyi Obioma!!! Adieu angelic voice!!!! Rest In Peace and rise in glory.

Stella, your death came untimely but  I know your faith never failed. You served your God till death and most importantly you preserved your dignity as a woman, that gives me assurance that you will not miss heaven. 
You are kind to a fault and can easily forgive when people wronged you. You lived a life devoid of anger and envy,  someone’s success never irked you instead you rejoice as if you were the person. 
Let stop so far because your virtues and values are numerous and uncountable. I wish I can have a second chance to be with you to tell you I love you.

Aunty is indeed with a sad and heavy heart and tears that I’m writing this tribute to you seeing that you didn’t live to reap the good fruits of your impacts in my life after all your labors of love and sacrifice in my life.

If everyone on earth possesses your kind of heart, the world would have been a better place with no one poor.

You lived a short but very impactful life here on earth and there’s no doubt you’re resting in the Lord’s bosom

Your Life battles, health challenges and victories has served as a tool of encouragement to me as a young man that truly there’s a God in heaven who watches and rules over the affairs of men.

Daa Onwuegbu death came knocking many times in time past, but you conquered and now it has pleased God to call you home and who are we mortals to ask Him why He allowed such rather all we can do is give Him thanks in all things.

TRIBUTE TO A DEAR SISTER

Ify nwannem! My heart is shattered! My heart is broken, that I have to come to the reality of your demise and now writing you a tribute. O God please help my heart! This is indeed a hard pill to swallow.

Ify how can I live with the reality of never speaking to you again on the phone or look forward to your arrival to Nigeria. My dear sister, you lived a good life. An epitome of selfless love. You lived for every other person but yourself. Family meant everything to you. You put smile on the faces of everyone who crossed your path with their challenges- poor & less privileged. You were a fighter & a resilient soul. Giving up in the face of challenges never existed with you that you have practically looked death in the face so many times & walked through it.  You may be gone Ify nwannem but the impact you have made in our lives will forever remain evergreen.

Thank you for all the times you were there for my children, they haven't stopped talking of the fond memories they had with you.
You will surely be missed but since it has pleased God to call you home at this time, all we can do is submit to his will.

I take consolation in 1Cor. 15: 50- that a believer does not die, rather is transitioned on to eternal glory. Continue to rest in the bosom of the Lord until we meet to part no more.

I was waiting to hear, you have opened your eyes only to be told that you didn't make it. Ify, am still in tears, pain and agony since I heard your demise from this sinful world. Death! Why are you so wicked? Why did you do this to me? You have done your worst and I believe now that it's a price all of us must pay.

Ifykie, I never knew you will be the one that will break our parents covenant with God. I thought we all agreed that during their death at old age, we will give them a befitting burial. Why did you leave us like this? Why so early? You are just ONE in Mr. and Mrs. Ibeh's family. You can never hear anybody's complain, troubles and worries and keep mute especially mine. You departed without saying a word to me. O death. It's still like a dream to me.

Your kind hearted nature is immeasurable. Your morning calls to me everyday in school is now a threat to me. You conquered death many times and that was why we named you "daa Onwuegbu". What happened this time around? Chai God I can NEVER question you. Your death is a big shock to me and all members of our family because  we never believed you will leave us just like that. All the persons you helped through me are giving me assurance that you must be with God in heaven. 

Ify mu I can NEVER  forget you in a hurry because of the role you played in my life and in my marriage. Emeka and Chiboy are still crying because of your death. 

You will be greatly missed my darling, loving, sweet sister. I am writing this crying but God must surely comfort me. It is well with my soul. I believe God knows the best
