It is with a heavy heart we share that Susan Tourtellot, beloved family member and friend, has passed away. She died on the evening of October 12, 2021 after being incapacitated from a fall a few weeks earlier. Several physical complications developed in the days that followed the fall.
Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Dallas Morse Tourtellot II and Bessie Gray Stevens Tourtellot, and her older brother, Dallas Morse Tourtellot III. Surviving family members are her brother, Steve Tourtellot (Rosemary), and nieces Christine Tourtellot, Stephenie Godfroy, and Sarah Tourtellot along with many cherished cousins. She is also survived by her closest and dearest friend, Nancy Red. Susan will be truly missed by many dear friends and neighbors.
Susan enjoyed attending school and traveling to many areas of the world as her father had foreign assignments with the United States Air Force. She earned a bachelors degree from LeTourneau University here in Houston. Susan had a very fulfilling career in marketing and public relations serving in such areas as the City of Houston and Methodist Hospital. She also served on the board of the Willow Walk Neighborhood Homeowners Association for several years
There will be a funeral mass at 10:30 AM, Friday October 22, 2021 offered for Susan at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, 11720 Joan-of-Arc Dr., Houston 77024.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to St. Cecilia’s or to the Star of Hope Mission (https://www.sohmission.org/ways-to-give/) are welcomed in Susan’s memory.
After the service there will be a reception giving a time of fellowship and sharing memories at the Willow Walk Neighborhood Clubhouse located at 9955 Kemp Forest, Houston, 77080
