“Strength and honor are her clothing; she shall rejoice in time to come.
She opens her mouth with wisdom, and on her tongue is the law of kindness.
She watches over the ways of her household,
and does not eat the bread of idleness.
Her children rise up and call her blessed;
Her husband also, and he praises her:
Many daughters have done well, but you excel them all.”
Proverbs 31:25-29
Suzanne was proud and honored to be a homemaker in keeping with the Lord's word that she passionately and tenaciously followed to serve Him, her husband and her family. She was a member of Community Bible Study for 25 years, ministered a home bible study for Jennifer's girl classmates for 12 years, and nurtured or attended adult bible studies continually until last week.
As wife and mother, she blessed her family with a profound godly faith indicative of the way she lived. Psalm 9:1 perfectly reflects how she so faithfully and lovingly ministered to friends and family: “I praise you O Lord with all my heart and tell about your wonders.” She embraced life - her smile and joyful spirit a testament to all who knew her. Her passion in life was her love for her husband, children and grandchildren, and her precious Savior Jesus.
The family would like to extend a special appreciation to those doctors and staff that professionally and effectively served her at MD Anderson in the Gynecological Oncology and Clinical Trial Clinics for the past five years. In addition, they would like to thank Juanice Rivera, Rosibel Rivera, Ana Amaya, Gladis Basques, Rosio Ramos Ana Zelaya and Xiomara Orellano for their compassionate and loving care for Suzanne at home.
