It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved father, who left us peacefully on June 2, 2025, at the age of 80. Surrounded by his loving family in his final moments, he departed this world as he lived in it—embraced by love, warmth, and gratitude.

Born in Japan, he migrated with his family to Brazil at the age of 15, where his remarkable journey of hard work and perseverance began. He started working on his family’s farm, dedicating countless hours to help build a better future. His tireless spirit led him to venture out on his own, establishing his own farm and later expanding into several successful businesses, including a lumber factory, a lumber warehouse, and a grocery store.

When an economic recession struck Brazil, he once again demonstrated his resilience and determination by moving with his own family to Japan. There, he continued his life of hard work, taking on roles as a carpenter, business entrepreneur, and house cleaner, always striving to provide and care for his loved ones. After many years of dedication, he retired and eventually moved to the United States to be close to his family, cherishing every moment spent together.

A devoted father, he introduced his sons to the joys of judo, track and field, and baseball, nurturing their growth and interests. His love for baseball was unmatched—not only did he enjoy the sport himself, but he also started a baseball league for children and coached many kids of different ages, inspiring them with his passion and guidance.

Family was always at the center of his life. He would drive over 2,000 kilometers with his family to visit his parents and in-laws, ensuring that the entire family could gather and spend quality time together. He always did so much for others and never once complained, meeting every challenge with quiet strength and unwavering optimism.

He is survived by his beloved wife, three sons, three daughters-in-law, and eight cherished grandchildren. His caring nature, infectious optimism, and loving heart will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all who knew him.

A private family service will be held in his honor. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you carry his spirit forward by sharing kindness and love with those around you.

He will be dearly missed and forever remembered.

愛する父の訃報

私たちの愛する父である梶田　孝夫が2025年6月2日、80歳で安らかに永眠いたしましたことを深い悲しみとともにお知らせ致します。最期の瞬間は愛する家族に囲まれ、人生と同じく愛と温もり、そして感謝に包まれて旅立ちました。

　日本で生まれ、15歳の時に家族と共にブラジルへ移住し、新たな彼の素晴らしい人生の始まり。家族の農場で働きながら、より良い未来を築くために数えきれない努力、忍耐と時間を捧げました。彼の不屈の精神が原動力となり、自ら農場を開き、製材工場、製材倉庫、食料品店など、いくつものビジネスを成功へ導く事が出来ました。

　ブラジルの経済不況の際には、再び家族と共に日本へ移住し、そこで大工、起業家、ハウスクリーナーとして懸命に働き続け、愛する家族のために尽力しました。長年の努力の末、引退後は家族の近くで過ごすためアメリカへ移住し、共に過ごす日々を大切にしてきました。

　彼は何事にも情熱を持ち、エネルギー、楽観主義、そして優しさをもって人生を歩んできました。献身的な夫であり父親であり、その思いやりと揺るぎない支えは、周囲の人々の人生を形作りました。彼の楽観的な性格はどんな困難な時も周囲を励まし、その愛情深い心は家族や友人にとって大きな支えとなりました。

　さらにスポーツを通じて、息子たちへ柔道、陸上競技の楽しさを教え、成長と興味を育みました。そこで野球と言うスポーツへの愛情は格別で、子どもたちのために野球リーグを立ち上げ、さまざまな年齢の子どもたちをコーチし、情熱と指導で多くの子どもたちに大きな影響を与えました。野球を通じて多くの喜びを与え、多くの友情を得てきました。

　家族は常に彼の人生の中心でした。家族全員で2,000キロ以上の距離を車で移動し、両親や義理の両親を訪ね、家族全員が集まり、有意義な時間を過ごせるように尽力しました。その為、彼は多く困難に立ち向かい、決して不満を言うことはなく、静かな強さと揺るがぬ楽観主義により忘れられない数々の思い出が自然導かれました。

　最愛の妻と三人の息子、三人の義理の娘、そして八人の孫に見守られています。彼築き上げた思いやり、楽観的な性格、そして愛情深い心は彼を知るすべての人々に深く惜しまれ、永遠に記憶されることでしょう。

Obituário de um Pai Amado

É com grande pesar que anunciamos o falecimento de nosso querido pai, que partiu em paz no dia 2 de junho de 2025, aos 80 anos de idade. Cercado pelo amor de sua família em seus momentos finais, ele deixou este mundo como viveu—envolto em amor, calor e gratidão.

Nascido no Japão, migrou com sua família para o Brasil aos 15 anos, onde começou sua notável trajetória de trabalho árduo e perseverança. Trabalhou na fazenda da família, dedicando incontáveis horas para construir um futuro melhor. Seu espírito incansável o levou a abrir sua própria fazenda e, mais tarde, expandir para vários negócios de sucesso, incluindo uma fábrica de madeira, um armazém de madeira e um mercado.

Quando uma recessão econômica atingiu o Brasil, ele demonstrou novamente sua resiliência e determinação ao se mudar com sua família para o Japão. Lá, continuou sua vida de trabalho árduo, atuando como carpinteiro, empreendedor e faxineiro, sempre lutando para prover e cuidar de seus entes queridos. Após muitos anos de dedicação, aposentou-se e, finalmente, mudou-se para os Estados Unidos para ficar perto da família, valorizando cada momento juntos.

Como pai dedicado, ele apresentou aos filhos o judô, o atletismo e o beisebol, incentivando seu crescimento e interesses. Seu amor pelo beisebol era incomparável—além de praticar o esporte, fundou uma liga de beisebol para crianças e treinou muitos jovens de diferentes idades, inspirando-os com sua paixão e orientação.

A família sempre esteve no centro de sua vida. Ele viajava mais de 2.000 quilômetros dirigindo com a família para visitar seus pais e sogros, garantindo que todos pudessem se reunir e passar momentos de qualidade juntos. Ele sempre fez tanto pelos outros e nunca reclamou, enfrentando cada desafio com força silenciosa e otimismo inabalável.

Ele deixa sua amada esposa, três filhos, três noras e oito netos, que sempre guardarão suas memórias e buscarão honrar seu legado de compaixão, trabalho árduo e resiliência. Seu carinho, otimismo contagiante e coração amoroso serão profundamente sentidos e eternamente lembrados por todos que o conheceram.

Uma cerimônia privada será realizada em sua homenagem. Em vez de flores, a família pede que o espírito dele seja levado adiante, compartilhando bondade e amor com todos ao redor.
