Terry E. Sharit

Terry "Ted" Eugene Douglas Sharit, 80, went to be with his Lord and Savior on January 20, 2017. He was born in Panola County, Texas on November 6, 1936 to Homer Eugene Sharit and Dorothy Dix Kirven Sharit. Ted is survived by his loving wife, Vivian of 50 years; children, Sheri Lynn Mikle and husband Bill, Cindy Ann Burkhard, Carrie "Lin" Kelley and husband Bob and Ila Jean Bass and husband Steve; grandchildren, Jocelyn Beasley, Heather Heft, Jeremy Farr, Kyle Puryear, Christina Knight and Carrie Burkhard; great grandchildren, Atlee, Lane, Syrus, Preston, Maya, Madison, Aiden, Makayla, Zachary, Spring and Carter; and numerous other family members. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather and will be missed dearly.

Family will begin receiving friends at 10:00am on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 in the Family Chapel of Brookside Funeral Home located at 13747 Eastex Freeway Houston, Texas 77039, with funeral services to follow at 11:30am.
