Thelma received Christ early in life, she attended Burbank Church of Christ. Thelma worked at Betco Scaffolding, for almost 30 years in the clerical department. Thelma loved her family and grandchildren and her great grandchildren. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband of 56 years Nathan Tony Briggs, children, Glenn Briggs and Nathan and Lisa Briggs, grandchildren; Lacey and Steven Deal, Rachel and Ryan Lane, Christopher Lloyd, Christina Lloyd, sister in law, Joan Jackson, great grandchildren; Kyle Martin, Jackson Deal, Justin and Carter Lane.
She is preceded in death by her parents, T.J. Jackson, Sr. and Johnnie Mae Jackson and brother, T.J Jackson, Jr.
The family will receive visitors on December 14, 2016, at Brookside Funeral Home from 5 pm to 8 pm. The Funeral will be on December 15, 2016 at Brookside Funeral Home at 10 am followed by internment at Brookside Memorial Park.
