Thomas Dwayne Neal

Thomas, also known as T.D. graduated from Dundee High School in May of 1956. He met Helga in Houston, Texas and married on June 21, 1967. T.D. worked as a switchman at Houston Belt and Terminal Railway for 47 years. He was a member of Masonic Lodge and was a Shriner. T.D. had a passion for fishing, hunting, gardening, yard work, sports and family time.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 43 years, Helga Hertha Schemmel Neal; parents, John Thomas Neal and Kathleen Elizabeth Pryor; brother, Harold Pryor.

T.D. is survived by his children, Dwayne Anthony Neal (Jo), and Vivian Cox (Doug); grandchildren, Amber Nicole Neal MacWilliam (Jake), Kaitlan Cox Williams (Thomas), Brooke Cox, Jill Assir (Jason), and Todd Sanders (Stacey); great grandchild, Emerson Rae MacWilliam; brothers, Gerry Neal (Beverly), Wallace Pryor (Marilyn), and Richard Tidwell (Jeannie).

A visitation for Thomas will be held Friday, June 28, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A funeral service will occur Saturday, June 29, 2024 at 10:00 AM, in Brookside's Grand Chapel; followed by interment in Brookside Memorial Park.
