THOMAS L. SIMS of Houston died September 8, 2010. Tom was born on December 9, 1968 in Lufkin, Texas. He graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University in 1991.He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Elizabeth Sims. He is survived by Diane Sims and their sons, Jackson and Kyle of Houston, Texas, father and stepmother, Jack and Rosemary Sims of Belton, Texas, brother, Bryce Sims of Houston, Texas, Grandmothers Hellen Sims of Belton, Texas and Edna Spurlin of St. Augustine, Florida.A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 11th at 3:00 p.m. at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 13001 Katy Freeway, Houston, Texas 77079.The family requests memorial gifts in lieu of flowers be made to Memorial Ashford Little League c/o Diane Sims, 1810 Berryfield, Houston, Texas 77077.
