Timothy Bruce Cephus

Timothy Cephus was born January 7, 1968 in New Orleans, Louisiana to Willie and Ernestine Parker Cephus. Though born in New Orleans, he was raised in Houston, Texas where he attended Turner Elementary, Welch Middle School and graduated from Jack Yates High School. While attending Turner Elementary, he met his “FOREVER BROTHERS”, Sherman Albert and Francois Carriere’. Tim also loved our two sisters, Shawanda Julien and Katrina Breaux, both from Kenner, Louisiana. If he wasn’t in Houston, he was with them and his adopted mother, Carolyn.

Tim was a licensed Electrician. He worked as an Independent Contractor traveling the country working in various states as such as Iowa, New York, Minnesota, New Hampshire and Washington State.

Tim was an avid football fan. He loved everything Miami football (College and Pro). Tim loved life and often times the party did not start until he got there.

Tim is proceeded in death by his father, Wille Cephus. Tim is survived by his son, Roshun Laws (Raven): grandson, Roman Jamal (RJ) Laws; mother, Ernestine Cephus; brothers, Wille Edwards, Zachary Cephus and Kirk Cephus (Michelle); sisters, Shawanda Julien (Terry) and Katrina Breaux (Barrett); nieces, Amari Piper and Brandie Castellano (Jeremiah); great-niece, Autumn Castellano; nephew, Cornelius Piper Jr. (CJ); and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends.
