Timothy C. Van De Steene, born on August 14, 1978, in Wilmington, Delaware, passed away peacefully at home on May 23, 2025. He was a loving husband, devoted father to six boys, cherished son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend.
Tim was known for his kind heart and generous spirit. A hard-working man, he dedicated much of his life to the automotive industry, working as a salesman, finance manager, and sales manager. Over the years, he formed lasting friendships with many of his colleagues and customers.
His compassion extended beyond people—Tim had a special place in his heart for animals. He was often seen caring for strays around the dealership, and he even tried to find many of them a new home.
Tim treasured time with his family. He especially enjoyed traveling and going on cruises with his loved ones, making lasting memories together.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 21 years, Katherine Foerster; his five sons; his parents, Tom and Denise VanDeSteene; his siblings Bryan, Tommy, and Brittany; his grandmother; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Tim will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
