She is predeceased by her loving husband of 61 years, Benton G. Wells and is survived by their adoring daughter, Donna, her husband and 2 grandchildren.
Tommie was very active in her earlier years. She and Benton traveled the world - that is what she enjoyed most. They were long time members of St. Luke's United Methodist Church for over 50 years. She also served as Past President of the University Area Women of Rotary as well as doing volunteer work for many clubs and organizations. She loved to paint and dance. They were founding members of the Rococo Dance Club and also belonged to the Knife and Fork Club.
Visitation will be in the Chapel of Memorial Oaks Funeral Home and Cemetery, 13001 Katy Freeway, on Monday, August 19 at 11:30 am followed by the funeral service at 12:30 pm and burial.
Flowers are welcomed. However, those wishing to remember Tommie may make a donation in her name to the Charity of their Choice.
