Tsui Chun (Lo) Cheung

Mrs. Cheung (Lo) Tsui Chun, age 94, of Houston, Texas passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2023. Ms. Lo Tsui Chun was born in Canton, China on October 10th, 1928. Despite her difficulties accessing education due to the Japanese occupation of Hong Kong during World War II, she learned to read and write on her own. She was an artist who was very skilled at drawing and calligraphy as well as sewing.

Tsui married Mr. Cheung Yiu Lam in 1948. She had a daughter, Kit Hing (Rainbow), in 1949, a son, Chiu Ki, in 1951, a second daughter, Yan Nor (Emily), in 1963, and a second son, Chi Ho, in 1965. She lived in Hong Kong until 1986, when she moved with her husband to Houston, TX. She has four grandchildren, two of which she frequently stayed with and cared for in Texas for many years. She was an excellent cook and loved traveling, playing Mahjong, meeting with friends, and eating.

Though Tsui often didn't have much herself, she always wished to help and give to others first.

A visitation for Tsui will be held Saturday, February 18, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Chapel of Eternal Peace at Forest Park, 2454 S Dairy Ashford, Houston, TX 77077. A funeral service will occur Sunday, February 19, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Chapel of Eternal Peace at Forest Park.
