Vicki left us to be with our Lord on Friday January 17, 2025 at the age of 72 surrounded by her loving family. Born to Nannie Helen Pruitt Miller & John Miller August 4, 1950 at Memorial Hospital in Houston, Texas.
Vicki was a loving daughter, granddaughter, sister, wife, mother, Nana, & beautiful friend. She was always helping others, supporting her children and grandchildren. She was a bright light in this world who never failed to show up wherever she went with a 1000 watt smile! Vicki attended Humble High School graduating in 1970 and went on to attend Tyler Jr. College achieving the 3rd highest score on her SAT’s in Texas that year. Vickie and her parents were incredibly proud of the achievement. Vicki & Tommy married in 1972, living Houston for a few years and then moved to Forest Cove in 1976.
It is with a heavy heart, full of love and a spirit that never faltered, Vicki passed away on January 17, 2025 after her journey with cancer. Her unwavering strength shown throughout her illness was a testament to her driving desire to live. Vicki always had faith beyond what she was told by the doctors and she set goals for each round of the chemotherapy drugs she was given. She met many of those goals! DeAnn's high school graduation, 4-H and FFA activities for Katelynn, John, & Helen Marie, (face-timing and photos) birthdays, Thanksgiving, Christmas with a special visit with Hannah and Trey, and some she will miss that are upcoming but she will be forever watching over us all and we will face-time her in heaven. We all prayed for a miracle and several times she received it. Vicki was a person of great faith in God and great love for her family and friends. You will always be Our Sunshine. Rest now, and we will see you again.

The family attended the Forest Cove Baptist Church which is now Second Baptist Church in Kingwood. Vicki worked with their GA Girls Program and served as the Forest Cove POA President and worked with their July 4th Events as well as others.
Many will remember Vicki as the person that helped them at Northwoods Pool Supply where she worked for 40+ years as she was part owner of the family-owned business. She was happiest when she was with her son Thomas at a sports practice or events, or with Tammy at a dance competition or pageant or school event. Being a grandmother was a whole new time of her life. The Special time spent with her each of her 6 grandchildren were her favorite memories. Each with a different personality and each with a special place in her heart and beautiful memories for her to cherish. Life with Tommy who shared the journey of 52 years and was by her side through it all sharing all of life's joys as well as life's disappointments, Vicki's love for Tommy was absolute.
