Victor Manuel Escobedo Sr.

He was born July 24, 1952 to Anastacio Escobedo Lerma and Paula Aguilar Chavez de Escobedo in Allende, Coahuila, Mexico.

He married the love of his life Rosa Maria Escobedo Leal on Christmas Day 1972 and spent 53 wonderful years together. He immigrated to the US in 1974 and started a career with the Metropolitan Transit Authority in 1977. He retired from METRO after 30 years.

Victor is preceded in death by his parents and sisters Rosa Maria and Dora Elia. He is survived by his wife Rosa Maria, brothers Joselino, Oscar, Armando, Albino, and Anastacio. His "more than 4 children" Victor and wife Constance, Gabriel and wife Linda, Cynthia and husband Bardo, and Janette and husband Ruben. His ten grandchildren Rosalinda, Gabriel Jr., Aryana, Eliel, Celestia, Christopher, Ruben, Sophia, Christian, and Max. And two great grandchildren Victor Gabriel, and Aurora Genoveva.

Victor was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and a friend to everyone he met. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by everyone.

A viewing and memorial service will be held at the Funeraria del Angel in Houston, Tx on December 31, 2025 from 11am - 10pm with a Rosary at 5pm.
