He served in the Army at the age of 16. After the fall of Saigon in 1975, he left on a boat to a Navy base in Subic Bay, Philippines, traveled to Guam then to Fort Indiantown Gap, Pennsylvania and was sponsored to Frankfort, Kentucky by a Russian family.
He met his wife in 1976, they married in 1979 before they moved to Texas.
He owned and ran a dry cleaning business in Missouri City for 25 years. He dedicated his life to work, his wife and children. His wife and children remember the sacrifices he made for his beloved family.
He is preceded in death by his Father Phan, Con and Mother Hoang, Thi.
He is survived by his spouse Nga and sons Nam, Ky and Nhu.
