Viola Celestine Everett (Tina), a cherished and devoted individual, passed away on June 17, 2025, at the age of 76. She was a resident of Humble, Texas. Viola was known for her generous, kind-hearted, patient, thoughtful, wise, and compassionate nature.
She was born in Texas City, Texas, on September 7, 1948. Tina attended Grandfalls Royalty in Grandfalls, Texas, where she laid the foundation for a life of wisdom and compassion.
Tina was married to Harry James Everett for 11 years, sharing a life filled with love and devotion. She found great joy in shopping, reading, listening to music, and spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Harry James Everett; her son, Jimmy Glen Davenport, and his wife, Misty Davenport; her granddaughter, Tina Marie Smith, and her husband, Nate Smith; and her great-grandson, Jonathan Wayne Davenport. Viola is also survived by her brother, David White, and her sister, Mary Zahn. She was predeceased by her sisters, Lucy Hunter and Linda Garcia; her brothers, Daniel White and Clyde Whaley; her granddaughter, Shelby Lynn Davenport; and her grandson, Jimmy Glen Davenport, Jr.
A visitation will be held on June 30, 2025, from 10:45 am to 11:45 am at the American Heritage Funeral Home located at 10710 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038. The funeral service will follow at the same location from 11:45 am to 12:45 pm. A committal service will take place at the Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, TX 77038, from 1:15 pm to 1:45 pm.
Pallbearers will include Jonathan Davenport, Joel Rodriguez, Nate Smith, Douglas Dodson, Jay Atkinson, and Jason Hunter.
Viola Celestine Everett (Tina) will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and the deep compassion she showed to all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.
