Wanda Wallace Denton, born July 23, 1925 to Leo and Martha Wallace of Raritan, Illinois, went to be with her Lord Jesus on November 10, 2012. She is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, S.A. Denton. Wanda loved the Lord and His church. Teaching Sunday school for over 60 years, she touched countless lives through her witness for the Lord. She is survived by her son Allen and wife Vicki; daughters, Linda Weatherly and husband Jerry, Cheryl Putnam and husband Stephen; sisters, Ruth Olsen and Sammy Blender; nine grandchildren, and fifteen great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm Monday, November 12, 2012 at Brookside Funeral Home. Funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 am Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at First Baptist Church North Houston with interment to follow in Brookside Memorial Park.
