Wendy Anne Steele

Our beautiful Wendy Anne Ng Tang Steele, 61, was reunited in heaven with her father, beloved family, and friends on Monday, August 21, 2023.

Wendy was born on December 26, 1961, in Port-of-Spain, Trinidad and was the eldest of four children of Victor and Yuk Lin. She was daughter, sister, aunt, wife, and friend to all.

Wendy was preceded in death by her father, Victor; paternal grandparents, James and wife Lum Shee; maternal grandparents, Ng Kin Man and wife Wong Pui Chun.

She leaves behind her spouse, Kevin Shawn Steele; mother, Yuk Lin; brother Brian and wife, Barbara; niece, Bethany, nephew, Benjamin and wife Heather; brother, Derek; sister, Sandy and husband Chris; her precious dog, Po, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, family, and friends in cities around the world.

We would like to thank Wendy’s care teams at MD Anderson Cancer Center and SW Memorial Hermann for their compassion, thoughtfulness, respect, and love they showed Wendy while under their care.

A memorial service will be held at Houston's First Baptist Church-Downtown Campus located at 1730 Jefferson St, Houston, TX 77003 on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at 10:00 am
