

Wilbur Hyatt 88 of Huffman, Texas passed away Monday, August 31, 2015 at Montebello Nursing Home in Houston, Texas. He was born in Pasco, Washington on May 29, 1927 to Robert and Gertrude Hyatt. He was struggling with Alzheimer's and cancer. He served two years in the Army in the Korean War. Wilbur was a recipient of a purple heart medal along with several others during his time. He was a lifetime member of the VFW, the American Legion, and DAV.
He is survived by sisters Dorothy Boothe of Pasco, WA, Clara Spencer of Boise, ID, brother Dean Hyatt of Anchorage, AL, niece Denise Saucedo and husband Henry and daughter Autumn of Tucson, AZ. Also numerous nieces and nephews in the state of Washington.
He is survived by wife Margaret Louis and step children Mike and Elsie Louis, David and Charlotte Louis, Jerry Wayne Louis, Glenda Sarayno, Nancy and Charles Hardin, all of Humble, TX and Rose and William Moseley of New Augusta, MS. Also many loving step grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Thursday from 6PM-8PM at Brookside Funeral Home. Service will be on Friday at 9 AM followed by burial at 10:45 am at Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
