Will graduated from Lamar High School and received his BS and MS degrees from the University of Houston and a PHD from Stanford University. Will was a professional geologist and taught geology at Western Illinois University until he retired and returned to Houston.

Will is survived by his wife Gail of Houston, Texas and his son Billy of Brenham, Texas.
A memorial service celebrating Will’s life will be Thursday, May 9, 2013 in the chapel of Memorial Oaks Funeral Home at 12:30 P.M.
