William Carroll Beecher

William (Bill) Carroll Beecher, 56, passed away July 19, 2014 with his loving family by his side after a courageous battle with kidney cancer. Bill was born in Corpus Christi and was raised in Portland, TX. He graduated from Gregory-Portland High School and attended Del Mar College and Texas A & I University. He was a sales manager with Allied Fitting in Houston, TX, where he worked for 25 years.

He is survived by his fiancee, Luz Mejia; his parents, Ronald and Patricia Beecher of Kerrville, TX; his daughter Jennifer Caswell of Houston, TX; his son Tucker Copeland and his wife Suzanne of Portland, TX; his three brothers and their wives: Raymond and Michelle Beecher of Argyle, TX, Michael and Lana Beecher of Elgin, TX and John and Vivian Beecher of Portland, TX. He is also survived by four grandchildren: Aiden Stice and Lauren, Lacy and Colt Copeland. He also had five beloved nieces and nephews: Riley, Will, Raymond, Amy and Miranda Beecher.

He was an accomplished fisherman and hunter and enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family and friends. He was a generous father, grandfather and friend. He possessed a wicked sense of humor and lived life to the fullest, insuring that everyone had a good time and a great story to tell. He will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Visitation from 5-7pm with a Rosary immediately following will be held on Thursday, July 24th at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home and Cemetery, 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston, TX 77077.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, July 25th at 10:00am at Holy Rosary Catholic Church at 3617 Milam Street, Houston, TX 77002. A reception will follow in the parish hall.
