William James Boston

William James Boston died peacefully in the arms of his parents on April 13, 2016. William and his twin brother, Henry, were born on November 24th, 2015. Although stricken with an acute illness at 10 days old, William possessed strength, perseverance, and the ability to overcome incredible odds and physical challenges. His courage taught us that each day is a blessing and an opportunity to create lasting memories. He enjoyed cuddling with his parents every day, listening to music, and quietly observing the hustle and bustle of the NICU.

He is the son of Kevin and Lindsay Boston, a brother to Henry and Charles, and an angel who watches over us all.

In addition to his brothers and parents, he is survived by his uncle, Chris Chapman; grandparents, Alan and Caroline Chapman, Peggy Boston, and Kirby and Nancy Boston; great-grandmothers, Violet Lewis and Marjorie Chap- man; great-aunt, Katherine Powell, and husband, Wayne, of Richmond, Virginia; great- aunt, Patty Overturf, and husband, Steve, of Cambria, California; great-uncle Mi- chael Smith of Jacksonville, Texas; and many cousins.

He is greeted in Heaven by his loving grandmother, Vanessa Chapman, who always dreamed of having grandchildren.

The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of the Texas Children’s Hospital NICU for their incredible care provided to William and the entire family. A very special thanks to April, Dianne, Hawa and Tina, his primary nurses, who loved him like their own, and all of the doctors and NNP’s, too numerous to mention, who provided William with love and dignity in his life and also his death. You will always have a special place in our hearts.

A memorial service will be held at 10am on Wednesday, April 20th, at The Church of St. John the Divine, 2450 River Oaks Boulevard in Houston, where the Rev. Dr. Douglas W. Richnow, Senior Associate Rector, is to officiate.
