William (Bill) Dale House, 79, lost his battle with cancer on September 1, 2016. Bill was born December 24, 1936 in Rochester, Indiana to William and Margery House. He is survived by his daughter Margie Smith (Jonathan); nephews Scott Hensley (Kathy), Shane Rice (Elizabeth), Raymond Zimmerman, and Eric Zimmerman (Deanna); nieces Ashlea Griffin (Todd), Rhonda Speed, and Christina Speed (Ronnie); extended family and friends. His beloved Pekingese Lil’ Bit is happily living with Margie & Jonathan.
Bill served as a Peace Officer in Texas, Colorado and Indiana. He completed his service in 2014 as a U.S. Marshal. His passions included traveling, photography, and volunteering for the Boy Scouts of America.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elaine, son, Jeff, brother, Ray, mother and father.
A celebration of his life will be on Thursday, September 8, 2016 at 3pm in the Chapel at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 13001 Katy Freeway, Houston 77079.
