William Leo Maack

William Leo Maack 87 was born in Houston on December 16, 1928 and went to be with his Lord and Savior on February 14th 2016. Bill, as his friends knew him was preceded in death by Adele, his loving wife of 49 years who received her best Valentine’s Day present ever with their reunion.

He was a student at All Saints before attending St Thomas High School where he was part of the Graduating Class of 47’ which he claims was the best class ever! Bill was most proud of his lifelong membership in the Knights of Columbus and he was a devout Catholic above all else. He also served his country in the United States Air Force and retired with over 30 years of service in the US Postal Service.

We were beyond blessed to have Bill in our lives each and every day and he will be greatly missed. Bill left this world knowing his family and great friend Laurie were surrounding him and showering him with love. The family would like to thank the people of St Dominic Village for their love and care.

Bill is survived by his Son William A. Maack, Daughter Theresa Gardner, Son in Law Dennis Gardner and Grand Sons Dennis Cole Gardner III and William Grant Gardner and his sister Margaret M. Tierney.
